Can You AirPlay to Fire Stick?
Apple AirPlay is a handy feature that lets you stream from your iPhone or iPad to another device. Unfortunately, you cannot AirPlay content to a Fire Stick.
That doesn’t mean you can’t work around the issue, however. Instead of using AirPlay to connect directly to Fire Stick, you can use a third-party app to connect the two technologies so you can mirror your iPhone or iPad screen to your Fire Stick device for viewing on a larger TV or computer screen.
Can You Screen Mirror iPhone to Fire Stick?
If you prefer not to go that route, you can install an app like AirScreen, which will allow you to mirror your iPhone or iPad to Fire Stick. Here’s how to do that:
First, download and install the AirScreen app on your Fire Stick. How to Download Apps on a Fire TV Stick Once installed, open the app, and make sure your Fire Stick and iOS device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. The first time you use the app, you’ll get a prompt to scan a QR code to connect the app to your Apple device and when prompted, tap Open in Chrome. You’ll receive a prompt to start the Screen Mirroring capability on your Apple Device. Swipe down from the upper right corner of your Apple device to open the Control Center and tap the Screen Mirroring icon. Then choose the device to which you want to screen mirror. Once you select the correct device, your Apple device screen will be mirrored to your Fire Stick and displayed on the TV or monitor.
